It offers an easy to set up, convenient backup solution if don’t have an external USB drive or computer to back up to.

30–Day Free Trial

All new CrashPlan users get a 30-day FREE trial to CrashPlan Central. During this trial, you can use CrashPlan Central as an online backup destination to back up as much data as you want for any number of computers under a single account.

After the 30 days, you need to sign up for one of our online backup plans if you wish to continue backing up to CrashPlan Central.

Unlimited Online Backup Plans

CrashPlan Central offers backup plans for personal use. Purchase subscriptions for one, two or three years. We no longer offer pay–as–you–go monthly plans.

Individual Unlimited Plan

This plan gives you unlimited storage for a single computer.

Online Backup Considerations

We strongly encourage CrashPlan users to take advantage of its multiple backup destinations feature and back up in more than one location. Be aware that using online backup alone can mean that:

• Initial backup can take weeks to complete if you have hundreds of gigabytes or more of data. To speed things up, we can seed your initial backup for an additional fee.
• Restoring data can take a similarly long time. To speed things up, we offer the option to ship your backup data to you for an additional fee.
